What is virtual treatment planning? Once the 3D image is taken, all the structures are surface mapped. Using special software, Dr. Parikh creates virtual setups of the course of treatment. This helps her better understand the issues at hand and obstacles that we may face during treatment and plan for the most effective appliances and efficient systems.
