I love what I do. I see orthodontics as a fascinating combination of science, art, and technology - it means that every patient case is unique!
I also love people. Getting to be a part of your journey for a slice of time is a privilege. The relationships I’m able to build with the families that come through our doors are priceless. Working with a younger population, I love seeing children grow into their personalities!
I grew up in Southern California with an interest in health (inspired by my father who is a general dentist). I majored in Biological Sciences at USC and went on to attend dental school at UCSF. While there, my curiosity was piqued by the orthodontic specialty. I was fortunate to stay at UCSF for my residency, a three-year program known for its strong foundation and clinical skills. Here, I earned my Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Orofacial Sciences.
Since graduating, I’ve been practicing in Mill Valley and have absolutely loved this community and the people I’ve been able to meet. As faculty, I also teach a 3D Imaging and Virtual Treatment course to orthodontic residents at UCSF.
I live in Mill Valley with my husband, sons, and our playful pup, Ollie! When I’m not looking at teeth, I’m mostly chasing around our 6 and 3-year old boys. I also love to explore our beautiful Marin County and try new recipes in the kitchen. I love seeing patients and their families around town - stop and say hi!
